Miles Sorenson prides himself on his brutal honesty. Facts and logic are a hell of a lot easier to deal with than emotions. He’s got his career and a small, close-knit group of friends, and he doesn’t need nor want anything else. The total opposite of Quinn Barker, who doesn’t take life too seriously and thinks a good laugh can cure anything.
When Quinn takes Miles home, it’s supposed to be a one-time deal. Except they really click in the sack and end up spending the weekend together, enjoying each other's bodies as much as their company…to Miles’s dismay. Matters get even more muddled when, months later, they run into each other at the popular West Hollywood bar, Wild Side, and pick up right where they left off.
On the surface, Quinn and Miles are like oil and water, but the draw between them is undeniable. As their lives further entwine, they realize there’s more to their connection than the way they singe the sheets together.
But demons from the past have a way of catching up, and no matter how strong the link is tying Miles and Quinn together, the pressure may be enough to make it snap.

GAH! Did I ever love this book!!!!
Tied to You is a contemporary new adult MM romance and also book two in Riley Hart’s series entitled Wild Side. I truly love this author and always look forward to seeing how her newest creations turn out. There was never any doubt that I would end up loving this one. This author certainly has what it takes to pen a seriously awesome MM romance. A tale about two young men who did not see each other coming!
We met Miles Sorenson in the first book in this series. He can come across as an honest-to-a-fault, harsh individual with a cocky and judgmental attitude. Goodness knows why his close friends even put up with him!! Miles is a successful lawyer who is following in his father’s footsteps. He has a loving and supportive family and wonderful friends. What more can anyone ask for? Miles keeps people outside of his close circle at bay. If he doesn’t get close to anyone, there is no way he’ll get hurt. Miles meets Quinn Barker, a quirky and fun individual who is successful in his own right in the world of video games, at a bar and the two quickly embark on a lust-crazed weekend that was supposed to end there. When the pair run into each other a few months later, they can’t seem to stop themselves from falling into another sexy liaison which leads to more. As both men spend time together, they dive into the unexplored terrain of lust and sex. As their hearts get put on the line, is this just a disaster in the making? What happens when both men realize they are emotionally invested?
Quinn had him breaking all his rules. Miles really was going to kill him.
“You make me fucking crazy. Like you fit into this empty space I didn’t know I had.”
“Me too,” Quinn admitted…
The book is well written and made me feel. I became wholeheartedly involved in the beautiful imperfection that was Miles and Quinn. I so wanted them to get their happy forever. Miles is so closed off and impersonal and I found it oddly endearing how taken aback he was by all these unexplainable and unwanted feelings he was having for Quinn. And Quinn, he was hard not to fall in love with. He’s this breathe of fresh air that Miles sorely needed in his carefully constructed world. The feelings, the profound connection…. It’s all there between the two men. It may not have been something the two of them were searching for; however, the profound bond they develop is very real and unstoppable. Can Miles let go and take a chance on Quinn?
While Miles’ internal struggles and journey was certainly a big part of this story, I do think there was a great balance between this and the romance that was between him and Quinn. There were certainly times that I wanted to junk-punch Miles and tell him to wake up. This book certainly exemplifies how our own personal struggles can stand in the way of happiness. After all, we are all fucked up in one way or another and the road to self-acceptance can be harder for some.
All in all, Tied to You is a beautifully written book that will certainly touch your heart. I highly recommend this read for all lovers of MM romance. I am definitely looking forward to more books in this series!
“You’ve changed my whole goddamned world, Quinn. You showed my heart it was okay to fall. It was okay to let someone in.”
Gone For You ( Wild Side #1) Riley Hart
Oliver Hayes wears his heart on his sleeve, and his friends never let him forget it. Every Friday night spent at Wild Side, their favorite West Hollywood bar, Oliver’s lack of hookups becomes the hot topic. It’s not that he doesn’t want a good time. He just wants it to mean something, which is a lofty goal when he’s still pining after his childhood crush, Matt, who left ten years ago to start a new life in New York City.
Matt Daniels has always felt most at home seated at a piano. He might not have entirely fit in with his family and friends, but he was always able to find himself in music. Or at least he did before he gave up his dream a lifetime ago. Now, he has a successful modeling career and should be enjoying every second of it. Yet nothing feels right, and Matt fears he’s losing himself.
Just when Oliver decides to get over Matt for good, Matt waltzes back into LA. As Matt struggles to understand what he’s missing in his seemingly perfect life, he falls right back into leaning on Oliver for support. Things aren’t what they used to be between them, though. They tumble into bed together, and it’s hard not to continue ending up there. For the first time in years, Matt’s inspired to compose again, reigniting a spark he thought long extinguished.
But as always, Oliver can’t keep his heart in check, and soon Matt realizes he’s gone for Oliver too. The biggest question is, can he fully give himself to someone if he still hasn’t figured out how to love himself?
