Twins - Clare London
Are you a twin? Or do you know twins, and envy them their special relationship? There’s no denying that the bond between twins is often stronger and deeper than between other siblings. In my new book Romancing the Wrong Twin, Aidan and Zeb are identical twins, with very different characters but still very close. It’s one of the reasons that Aidan is willing to fall in with Zeb’s scheme for Aidan to stand in for Zeb on a publicity date. And why they’re still there for each other at the end of the book, when…
Well, that would be telling, wouldn’t it? Hopefully you’re intrigued enough to read the book.
Twins continue to fascinate us though. Apparently, twin births are over 75% more common than they were 30 years ago, maybe because women are having babies later in life. And there’s a theory that twins have their own special secret language from babyhood.
Identical twins aren’t totally identical, of course. They have unique fingerprints, and another way to tell them apart is by their navels. Though I don’t suggest you go asking any set of twins you meet to show you their belly buttons LOL.
In the book, Aidan and Zeb dress and act totally differently, until the lines start to blur between them. And maybe they start to draw more from each other during the “pretend” dating. Aidan certainly finds it empowering to mimic his extrovert twin. And maybe one day I’ll write Zeb’s story, where he finds a way to channel his twin’s calmer personality.
In the meantime, enjoy the story of their swapped identities

How tangled can a romantic web get?
When gruff mountaineer Dominic Hartington-George seeks sponsorship for his latest expedition, his London PA insists on a more media-friendly profile—like dating celebrity supermodel Zeb Z.
Zeb can’t make the date, so he asks his identical twin, Aidan, to stand in for just one evening. Aidan, a struggling playwright, shuns the limelight to the extent people don’t even know Zeb has a sibling, but he reluctantly agrees.
When the deception has to continue beyond the first date, Aidan fights to keep up the pretense. Dominic likes his sassy, intelligent companion, and Aidan starts falling for the forthright explorer. But how long can Aidan’s conscience cope as confusion abounds? Will coming clean as “the other twin” destroy the trust they’ve built?
Meet Clare London
Clare took the pen name London from the city where she lives, loves, and writes. A lone, brave female in a frenetic, testosterone-fuelled family home, she juggles her writing with the weekly wash, waiting for the far distant day when she can afford to give up her day job as an accountant. She’s written in many genres and across many settings, with novels and short stories published both online and in print. She says she likes variety in her writing while friends say she’s just fickle, but as long as both theories spawn good fiction, she’s happy. Most of her work features male/male romance and drama with a healthy serving of physical passion, as she enjoys both reading and writing about strong, sympathetic and sexy characters.
