Today stop is the seventh on our cruise and sees our couple in Bora Bora, French Polynesia. Let’s see what the boys got up to…
“How did we end up helping with the bingo again?” Rafe asked as they settled at the table set up on the small stage in the Explorer’s Lounge.
“We’ve won too many events,” Braden said, with a grin. “And you were the one who said that. Janie then suggested we might consider volunteering. Me? I was voluntold.”
Rafe snorted. “Are you telling me you wouldn’t have agreed?”
Braden ignored Rafe as he busied himself with the big cage in front of him for the bingo balls.
“Uh-huh. That’s what I thought.” Rafe grinned. “I don’t see what you’ve got to worry about. You’re just playing with a bunch of balls.”
Braden laughed. “Some of my favorite things in the world.” He waggled his eyebrows.
With another laugh Rafe turned his attention to the small panel in front of him. He touched a spot on the screen to wake it up. In one corner there was a place to start a new game, as well as the numbers in horizontal lines next to their letters. A much larger screen hung on the wall behind them, showing the same line of numbers and letters.
Just as he got the smaller screen in place, one of the ship’s crew came up with the microphone and set it up. “This should be live. Care to test it?” he asked.
Rafe nodded, glancing at Braden, who was grinning. “What?” Rafe asked, rolling his eyes.
“I’m just glad it’s you and not me calling them.”
Rafe shook his head. “Can’t be any harder than holding a board meeting, can it?”
Braden laughed. “I thought you liked public speaking?”
“Oh hell no. I do it because I have to, but it’s not my favorite thing, that’s for sure.” Rafe pulled the microphone closer and leaned in. “Testing? Testing?”
The crewman gave him a thumbs-up from the rear of the lounge, and Rafe sat back. The room was already filling up quite a bit. Meg, Janie, Jenna, and Angie moved through the tables greeting newcomers. They handed out cards and took money, then moved on. In only a few moments, Janie came up to the stage where Rafe and Braden sat.
She took the microphone from Rafe and turned to the main part of the lounge. “Welcome, welcome! I’m so happy to see such a huge turnout! We’ve been doing amazingly for Jacob’s Place! We still have prom tickets left, and there’s still time to buy raffle tickets for the art, books, and gift baskets. There’s always more Jacob’s Place needs, but I do want to extend a huge thank you for all you’ve done already.” She paused as the crowd clapped. When they settled down, she turned sideways a little. “I’d also like to thank Rafe Jessen and Braden Kirk for volunteering tonight. Rafe will be your caller, and Braden will be pulling the numbers while Meg, Jenna, Angie, and I help you folks. So give them a round of applause as well.”
Rafe dug up the businessman in himself and smiled and waved. He glanced over to see Braden practically hiding behind the cage, but he couldn’t blame the man.
“Now, one more thing before we get started. Some of you may have heard already, but I got the most exciting news right before I came in tonight. I’m so happy to announce that the—” She paused and pulled out a piece of paper. “Obergefell—I know I’m butchering that name—versus Hodges case has been decided. The Supreme Court ruled five to four in favor of same-sex marriage!”
A roar went up through the lounge, and Rafe turned to Braden, both of them grinning from ear to ear at each other.
“Holy shit!” Braden said, shaking his head. “I really didn’t think it would go that way!”
“How great is that?” Rafe asked. He leaned over and hugged Braden hard, then sat up again. “You know, we could actually get married now.”
Braden blinked at him for a long moment. “I… never thought of that. Wow.” His smile faded, and Rafe swallowed at the look on Braden’s face. “I’m not ready for something like that,” he said quietly.
Rafe shook his head. “No, it’s okay, of course not.” He took a breath and turned back to the table, trying not to let the stab in his heart show, but Braden put a hand on his arm.
“That’s not never, Rafe. I’m not opposed to it.”
Rafe was grateful the noise still hadn’t died down from the group. “It’s okay, really.” He took another deep breath and managed to smile.
“I won’t get away from it forever anyway,” Braden said, grinning.
Rafe raised his eyebrows. “Oh?”
Braden shook his head. “Do you really think Mom is going to let us go for long without getting married?”
Rafe chuckled, feeling quite a bit better after that. “No. No, she won’t.”
Thanks for reading! Remember to keep up with the whole cruise for a chance to win at each stop. And each entry will give you an opportunity to be entered to win one of the three big prizes!

Five years ago, everything went wrong. Braden Kirk and Rafe Jessen’s long-term relationship started unraveling. They stopped talking, fears mounted, then Braden walked in on Rafe and another man, completely misreading the situation. Without giving Rafe a chance to explain, Braden walked out. Out of their home, their relationship, and the game development company they started together in college.
After months of therapy to deal with the attempted rape Braden walked in on, Rafe begins to understand that his dominant tendencies in the bedroom aren’t a bad thing and that Braden’s submission is likely what scared his partner into silence. But Rafe isn’t ready to let go of the man he loves more than life itself. He arranges for himself and Braden to end up on the same charity cruise, knowing Braden won’t let his phobia—terror of vast, deep waters—rule him.
With a plan and twenty-eight days, Rafe is determined to get Braden back, make him see there’s nothing wrong with being submissive, and find a way to get Braden to stay with him when they get home to LA.

Meet Grace Duncan
Grace Duncan grew up with a wild imagination. She told stories from an early age – many of which got her into trouble. Eventually, she learned to channel that imagination into less troublesome areas, including fanfiction, which is what has led her to writing male/male erotica.
A gypsy in her own right, Grace has lived all over the United States. She has currently set up camp in East Texas with her husband and children – both the human and furry kind.
As one of those rare creatures who loves research, Grace can get lost for hours on the internet, reading up on any number of strange and different topics. She can also be found writing fanfiction, reading fantasy, crime, suspense, romance and other erotica or even dabbling in art
