Synopsis

Wyoming Territory, 1870.

Elijah Carter is afflicted. Most of the townsfolk of South Pass City treat him as a simpleton because he’s deaf, but that’s not his only problem. Something in Elijah runs contrary to nature and to God. Something that Elijah desperately tries to keep hidden.

Harlan Crane, owner of the Empire saloon, knows Elijah for what he is—and for all the ungodly things he wants. But Crane isn’t the only one. Grady Mullins desires Elijah too, but unlike Crane, he refuses to push the kid.

When violence shatters Elijah’s world, he is caught between two very different men and two devastating urges: revenge, and despair. In a boomtown teetering on the edge of a bust, Elijah must face what it means to be a man in control of his own destiny, and choose a course that might end his life . . . or truly begin it for the very first time.

Mark’s Quick Bite

From the very first chapter Elijah totally stole my heart. Sweet, bullied, kind hearted, hurting, good natured Elijah. I wanted to hold him, hug him, comfort him, adopt him, hold his hand….so I had to make do with my Kindle as a poor substitute instead. This character seriously got under my skin from the very first chapter, stayed there and made his home there, thanks to the powerful writing from Lisa Henry.

Lisa took me on an emotional journey of discovery with this book that will stay with me for quite a while. A roller-coaster ride of emotions. I LOVED Elijah, I’ve never experienced so many emotions in one character. One character that I will not be forgetting for a long time, stole my heart completely and will be keeping it for quite a while.

Synopsis

Of all the bars in all the towns in all the world, the stranger walks into Brody Tyler’s. With no memory and a name he chose from a newspaper, Nash is a gamble—one Brody is willing to take. It isn’t long before Brody and Nash fall in love, but then a tragic accident shatters their cozy world, resetting Nash’s memory once again.

The “new” Nash Walker is a businessman with a bottom line, and he doesn’t care what or who gets stomped on. Waking up in a hospital bed after a hit-and-run with no idea where he’s been for the past six months is bad enough, but someone trying to kill him is even worse. Enter Brody Tyler, accidental bodyguard.

Brody’s determined to help Nash remember and bring back the man he loves. Nash thinks Brody’s a drop-dead gorgeous pain in the ass. If only he could remember….

Macky’s Quick Bite

Brody and Nash. What can I say? One of my favourite couples in a m/m romance. Brody is the consummate good guy, he's everything anyone would want in a man and gorgeous to boot; I love everything about him. Nash is a man of two halves. Nash the amnesiac: kind hearted, funny, loving, generous and the man who Brody falls hard for, and then there is his 'true' self post amnesia: selfish, cold, shallow and a hard hearted business man; complete opposite to the Nash, Brody fell for. I loved the first part of the book where they meet, get to know each other and fall in love...but the next section is my favourite.

Watching how Brody fights to get 'his Nash' back by infiltrating his home and life as his bodyguard, is an absolute joy to read. I found it funny, sexy, poignant and emotional. Every character in this book adds to its charm and originality, from Brodys best friend Wyatt, to Nash's' house keeper and voice of reason, Hannah. Add some intrigue around the reasons for the amnesia and you've got a story that delivers on every level. I adore this book and have read it quite a few times. A real feel good story with a fabulous HEA!

Synopsis

Remy is a wolf shifter who loves getting under the hood of a beauty with lots of horses and hates his mother nagging him to start having pups. When he is summoned to his asshole alpha's house, things go from bad to worse as he fails a test of loyalty by refusing to torture and kill a vampire. He's forced to challenge for the position as Alpha. No one is more surprised than he is when he actually wins. But what does he know about running a pack?

Remy soon realizes the severely wounded male vampire is his mate. Skylar’s coven sent him to investigate rumors about a poison targeting vampires. Skylar is drop-dead gorgeous, with the brightest blue eyes Remy has ever seen. He's also blind. Will forces outside their control and the new responsibilities facing Remy put a stop to their mating and their life together before it begins?

Liza’s Quick Bite

Remy never wanted to be an Alpha.  He was happy in his pack, loved working on cars, and yes, so maybe he hadn't been as attentive to his latest boy toy as he should have been, but he had a decent life.  All that went to hell in one short day when his Alpha, Trevor ordered him to cement his place in the pack by raping and torturing an already dying vampire.

Skylar is an amazing vampire and I adored him - his snarky humor, his love of fine clothes and his unwavering ability to support his new mate.  He never made a big deal out of being blind, he still had all of the protective instincts that came from being mated. He and Remy were a perfect match.  There's fighting, Remy's family are a scream although I could understand why Remy was so upset with his mother.  Overall this was a rollickingly good read and perfect for a lazy afternoon.

Synopsis

How long did it take you to find your place in the world?
For Ethan Walker, going through the motions of life, keeping his distance, and never getting attached has become the mantra he lives by. Success is measured by how many hours he can work and how little attention he can draw. That was until he landed on Beau Bennett’s radar. Until Beau, Ethan had never met a man who could get him to question his own logic and even consider taking a different path.
Beau Bennett knows exactly who he is—now. It might’ve taken him some time to figure it out, but now that he has his bearings, Beau has set his sights on the mysteriously sexy Ethan Walker. Pursuing someone has never been his style, but something is telling him to keep at it because the end result is going to be worth it.
Now that they’ve found one another, how long will it take Ethan and Beau to accept that their place in the world is...Together?

Monique’s Quick Bite

As an M/M reader, I have to admit I was a little bit nervous reading a book in the middle of a hetero series, but those concerns were unfounded as this book can definitely be read as a stand alone, and I loved it!… Although there is a lot of sex in this book, it’s not all about the sex, which for me is important. The emotion is intense and powerful, but there was also a passion and intimacy that was just mind blowing! Nicole Edwards, showed us these two characters, warts and all, their vulnerabilities laid bare, with all the raw pain and hurt, which for different reasons were kept locked deep inside. They are soul mates, they really are, drawing strength and courage from each other and I could feel it all in my heart, so much it was aching… Nicole Edwards totally endeared me to Ethan and Beau… I loved them, and I am seriously hoping another one of those delicious brothers turns out to be gay …either that or the lovely Ms Edwards needs to start writing M/M.
