Will new revelations about Hunter’s desires rekindle the romance with Kyle or put an end to things?
Committed couple Hunter and Kyle have been together a long time. They love each other very much, but they’re apart a lot, and there are very few surprises left in the bedroom anymore—or are there?
When business trips lead Hunter to some eye-opening time on the Internet, he discovers a side to himself that he never knew existed. The kinky things he learns make him want Kyle all the more, make him want to go home and play all sorts of naughty games. He feels compelled to tell Kyle about it, even if he’s embarrassed, wanting to be honest. Will their relationship survive his revelation? Or will Kyle be disgusted by this new side of him?
Hunter and Kyle love each other and have been together a long time. Like any busy couple they do spend periods of time apart, but they stay faithful to each other and they life they have. But unbeknown to Kyle, Hunter has been exploring some parts of his sexual side that he didn't know existed and there comes a time when he has to explain to Kyle, the sorts of things he would like to introduce to their bedroom. He hasn't got a clue how his longtime partner is going to take a shift in dynamics.
Porn. That might do it. A little happy porn, an orgasm then boom, sleeping. He liked it.
I'm going to say there isn't any cheating in this book, although I consider online sex chats cheating unless you are chatting with your own partner via the web. I thought there was, and that made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but once you read through it (like I did) you see that Hunter remains true to Kyle despite his online activities. I absolutely adored when Hunter was chatting to someone new, and had to look up what an abbreviation meant on Google - I do the same thing when my kids text me.
One of the many things I like about Sean Michael's books is his way of injecting a twist in the story, and there is definitely one in this book. I loved how the reader got a peak into Hunter and Kyle's life before their change, and how the added dynamic of BDSM brought so much more to their already totally sweet relationship. This is not a hard core BDSM book, it’s definitely on the lighter side and won’t offend anyone who appreciates a bit of kink in bedroom scenes.
There are no secondary characters in this book, no major angst or anything else. We get hints about what the two men do in their daily life, but the whole story is centered on Hunter and Kyle's exploits in the bedroom. If any of you think your relationship may be a little stale, then you definitely want to consider reading this book. It was fun, loving, and hotter than a barbecue in summer.
