Synopsis

All Noel Dane wants is to escape into his new life in Silver Creek. He has family and friends in this perfect life but things become a little complicated when he meets his mate, his very human mate. Beau Elliot is everything Noel ever wanted, caring, loving, and understanding.

It's love at first sight, but Noel still can't find the courage to tell Beau he's a wolf shifter. He knows he has to but he doesn't want to lose the one good thing to come into his life in a long time. No matter how far a person can run, they can never truly escape their past, and Noel has found that out the hard way. Beau is abducted by the same man responsible for Noel's father's death. Noel must now learn to stand up for himself and fight or again be forced to watch someone else he loves die. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

Liza’s Quick Bite

Noel has had a hard time - losing his adopted father and his pack all in the space of a year.  But with his love for books he happily creates a new life for himself at Silver Creek where he makes new friends, sets up his own business (a book shop) and starts to get over his troubles.  One of his most pleasant diversions is watching a tall sexy man go running past his shop every day at four pm.  Beau is a human teacher at the local school.  All his life he has been looking for someone who wants him beyond a one night stand - someone who wants to be with him always.

Their meeting is explosive and so totally in keeping with the true mate trope it is beautiful.  Their relationship is hard and fast, and so hot I had to keep a fan handy.  But Noel hasn't shared with Beau his biggest secret - that he is a wolf shifter and Beau is his mate. When an ex comes back into the picture all hell breaks loose and not in a nice way.  The action there was fast and totally in keeping with the rest of the book and their love - well, Noel never had anything to worry about and he should have trusted his mate a little more.  This is a relatively short, hot story and if you love the true mate trope then you won't be disappointed.  Can be read as standalone.

Synopsis

London, 1898

Lord Benedict Yeats has two obsessions.

One of which has a definite pulse – the seductive and beautiful Evander St John, Duke of Casterwell. A man he has a certain history with.

A man who tells Benedict that he has spent too long amongst sand and dead things. He might not be wrong. Casterwell’s world is one of sexual sophistication and games that Benedict cannot hope to match.

But when Benedict returns from working on a famous dig in Cairo, Casterwell invites him to a country house party that will change his life. An Egyptologist of growing renown, Benedict will also catalogue the famous Casterwell collection of antiquities.

And almost certainly, will become one of Casterwell’s string of lovers. But will he be the one to break through that glittering façade? Or will the scars of Casterwell’s dark, bloody past and his complex and fiercely deceptive private life tear them apart?

Warning: Contains two men wildly obsessed, a lust too long denied, hot m/m sex between a naive Egyptologist and one very determined duke, and absolutely no cursed tombs. Approx. 56000 words.

Mark’s Quick Bite

What I love about historical novels is the whole aspect about how people managed their lives all those years ago, with all the attitudes that existed when they knew they were gay. Well, Jae gives us an account of two guys who love each other very much and the struggle they have in order to find an acceptable future for themselves in this time.

I also love books where the emotions are complicated, people misreading the other’s intentions and this book definitely has this between the two MCs big style. Constantly second guessing each other, misreading the signals, unable to put emotions into words. It was a long journey for the pair of them but well worth all the effort. The sexual tension and sex between these guys is hot, OMG I was reduced to a puddle of gooey hot desire on more than one occasion. If you like a smouldering hot erotic romance with an historical background then this book will definitely be one to add to your TBR list.

Synopsis

After the demise of his relationship with his childhood sweetheart, Janey, Jesse needs to get away. His nan has just the thing: a month-long cruise around Hawaii and the Pacific Islands. It seems perfect—until Jesse realizes what kind of cruise it is.

A gay cruise.

Since Jesse’s roommate, Daniel, is recovering from a broken heart, the two decide to buddy up. They hit it off, and with Daniel now Jesse's partner in crime, they explore the boat and participate in all the fun activities on offer—with some, ah, interesting results for straight boy Jesse.

Macky’s Quick Bite

This was my very first Lily Velden story and the one that made me fall in love with her addictive writing style. I really do adore this entertaining novella. Engaging MC's, a sweet story and delish love scenes, it's delightfully sexy, romantic and fun. A perfect pick me up when you need to cool down from an intense read; I fell in love with every character (grandma is a hoot and a real sweetheart) and just lost myself in it, right up to its lovely HEA. Minimal angst, easy laid back style of writing and lovely smexy chemistry makes this the type of book you can just sit back and chill with. One of my favourite re-reads and one that genuinely makes me smile.

Release: Davlova #1 by A.M. Sexton

Synopsis

Davlova: a poverty-ridden city-state ruled by a tyrannical upper class. Resources are scarce and technology is illegal. But in the slums, revolution is brewing.
Misha is a common pickpocket until his boss gives him a new job. Disguised as a whore, Misha is sent to work for one of the most powerful men in the city. But his real task is far more dangerous: get close to Miguel Donato, and find something – anything – that will help topple Davlova’s corrupt government.
Misha is plunged into the decadent world of the upper class, where slaves are common and even the most perverse pleasure can be found. Although he’s sure Davlova’s elite is involved in something horrific, proof is hard to come by, and Misha begins to fall in love with the man he’s supposed to betray. Then Misha meets Ayo – a sex slave forced by the neural implant in his brain to take pleasure from pain – and everything changes. As the lower class pushes toward a bloody revolution, Misha will find himself caught between his surprising feelings for Donato, his obligations to his clan, and his determination to save Ayo.
Warning: This book contains graphic descriptions of violent sexual acts of questionable consent that may be disturbing to some readers.

Monique’s Quick Bite

What I love most about reading M/M romance is that there is so much variety with the many sub genres, and like most readers I dip in and out and revel in it, but tend to gravitate to the darker side of erotic romance. So I have read and enjoyed Marie Sexton as a writer. But Marie Sexton writing as A.M. Sexton… I LOVE!!! The writing is flawless, a mixture of beautiful prose, darkened by the details of this cruel and evil world she has created. It’s smooth and it flows and somehow she creates a haunting experience. I was enchanted by this story told from Misha’s point of view.

There are a lot of players and pawns in this first book and I feel Marie perhaps concentrated on the characterisation more than the world building. We get enough of an insight to keep the story flowing and to sate my curiosity keeping my interest piqued, with some of it incredibly detailed, bringing the pages to life.

There is no romance as such, there is love, as misguided as that is, there is affection… and the writing was so amazing, that I was astonished by my own reactions at the end of the book and I think that was an outstanding achievement given my emotions throughout.

The second book due for release August 31st 2015, promises so much more, I can’t wait! ..And I am hoping that Marie continues with her alter ego AM Sexton, because holy shit… She can write up a storm!

This was a truly excellent read and I highly recommend it.
