Synopsis

Red’s been thinking all along that Bad’s a big, bad top, who probably lives in a dungeon (or maybe the dom version of the bat cave), but it turns out Bad has a house in the suburbs and doesn’t let just anyone load his dishwasher. Can Bad get the night back from Red’s sudden dizzying confusion?
Series Description:
Big Bad Charles Campion just wants to have a few minutes of fun with the little twink he usually only ogles over closed-circuit video. A single hour to take what he wants, that’s it. One time only.
College junior Red Redman wants something real, but he’s willing to settle for hot, kinky sex with a guy who can bring him to his knees with a word. He swears he’s not in too deep, but every new thing Bad does just makes the not-realness of this thing hurt more.
Little Red and the Big Bad is a serialized erotic romance, told in twelve installments of 3000-6000 words. A new episode will be available each Thursday, and the box set will be out in January. The House is 6300 words long.

Macky’s Review

All the way through the serial we've been saying we needed to see a softer side to Bad...well I'm not sure 'softer' is the word to use around the Badster as nothing is ever soft around that guy, and yes I am talking bodily appendages (Reds mainly *cough*) as well as character traits!! But what we do get to see in this episode is a more human side of him creeping under the radar, when after playing out their naughty sex games voyeuristically in front of Tony "The Wannabe" at lunch earlier that day, he picks up a very wet and cold Red and takes him to a quaint house in suburbia, a revelation that throws Red for a bit of loop as it turns out to be Bad's home.

Suddenly Red is struggling to put together the fantasy of his Bad: the kinky, controlling Dom who both terrifies and thrills him, with the guy who is acting all "Mr Normal", offering him beers and blankets to dry himself and get warm with. On top of the fact that he's now in the shit with his housing situation, it looks like his Bad bubble is about to burst and he's not really sure how he feels about that, something Bad picks up and calls him out on.

"Where'd you think I lived, Red? A cave?"

"Maybe. Maybe like the Bat cave, only instead of weapons, it'd be, like, whips and stuff. But not—this. Like you probably have a toothbrush. God that's so stupid. It's just—I didn't think about anything like that. In my head you were— not vulnerable to cavities, I guess."

" You worried I'm secretly vanilla, Red?"

With the words "No such luck. Come with me Red." All his worries about his Big Bad cop being just another mundane guy disappear when he sees exactly what lies within the walls of of the everyday, suburban abode...and Vanilla it is not!!!

Reds faith is restored, Bad gets to show his twink that "Mundane" isn't even in his vocabulary and the sharpies are given a breather when Bad illustrates just how versatile a beer bottle can be when you can't just nip out to the local sex shop to boost your toys and supplies! But it's definitely there...Bad  protective side makes a definite appearance as Red is burrowing further under his skin..and we awwww’d again.

Another part of the serial seen from Red's perspective; once again this is not just all about the smut and porn. It's funny, emotional in only the way a Red and Bad instalment can be and very cleverly plotted by Kris who never fails to amaze us with how engaging she makes these two characters appear amongst a set of bite size stories,  that on the surface appear to be just a set of jizz filled adventures between two kinky, exhibitionist, SOB's who like it hard, fast, down and dirty, when in fact their relationship has deepened subtly and endearingly over the course of the past ten books. Our love for them only gets deeper as Monique and myself buddy read each book and get to see more of an emotional connection taking place between them ...**sigh** we really do love these guys...

Only two more to go...

Little Red and the Big Bad: Serial

LRBB-boxAREBig Bad Charles Campion just wants to have a few minutes of fun with the little twink he usually only ogles over closed-circuit video. A single hour to take what he wants, that’s it. One time only.

Little Red and the Big Bad is a serialized story, told in twelve installments. A new episode will be available each Thursday from October 26, 2014 until January 8, 2015, only on Amazon. The episodes vary in length from 3000 words to 6000 words, and for the budget-conscious who don’t mind missing out on the serial experience, the box set will be out in mid-January! (The box set will be available at all vendors.)

This is an experiment, and it’s been a lot of fun to write serial stories, so I’m open to doing it again if folks enjoy the experience.

  1. You guys pique my interest with everyone of your reviews for the serial. I've been holding off buying it since I'll rather buy it all in one go and read it but the reviews are making me rethink it, lol. Thank you for the wonderful reviews =)

    1. Aww thanks HB. Thankfully It's actually not long to the box set release but it has been fun reading it in serial form. I really hope you get as much out of it as we have. Enjoy when you can settle down with big Bad and his naughty Little Red! ;)
