LL-Logo_thumb1

This story was written as a part of the Goodreads M/M Romance Group's "Love’s Landscapes" event. Group members were asked to write a story prompt inspired by a photo of their choice. Authors of the group selected a photo and prompt that spoke to them and wrote a short story.

This is a fabulous event that gives M/M readers a chance to catch up with some of their favourite authors, experience new authors, and also gives those readers that have yet to dip their toes into the genre a chance to find out why so many of us are huge fans of Gay Romance… all for free!!! AMAZING!!!

The M/M team will be following the Love’s Landscapes releases and bringing you our take on some of these fabulous gems. We would also like to thank the Goodreads M/M Romance group who organise this yearly event and those authors that give their time freely for the fans enjoyment… Free eBooks from amazing authors is a gift we are all immensely grateful for.

Dear Author,
These two men appear to be sharing a moment of affection and tenderness, and they seem so comfortable with each other’s personal space. How did they meet or find one another? What has their time together been like? Is this the lead-up to their first kiss or is it the lead-up to their five-hundredth kiss? Is their body language a reflection of their long-time intimacy and knowledge of one another, or is this an early moment in their relationship?

Photo-Description:

Two men are sitting close, a whisper apart, and their gazes are locked onto each other’s lips. The light glows behind them, bright, like the chemistry between them. They are about to kiss…

Macky’s Review

Aww this one was cute and very readable. I love enemies to lovers stories and for a shortie this one ticked the boxes very nicely. I really liked how Anyta set this around a kids camp as it gave Dylan and Chris some great opportunities to spark off each other and of course the way she used it to put them in a sort of forced proximity to each other set the whole love/hate thing up perfectly. The 500 kisses wager was sweet and a great hook to get these two stubborn guys to see that their 'dislike' of each other wasn't quite as deep seated as they thought!

I guess if you want a feel good story that leaves you smiling then you won't go far wrong with this one. Thank you Anyta. It definitely put a grin on my face.

Tina’s Review

“Five hundred kisses are all it takes to steal a heart.”

This was so achingly sweet…. and soooo romantic, a beautiful enemy to lovers story. Those two snickerdoodles stole my heart and never gave it back. <3 <3 <3
Chris and Dylan were so perfect together and I loved the chemistry between those two. They were just meant to be together and needed ‘only’ a few hundred kisses to prove that. It’s wonderful to watch how these so very stubborn men get consumed by the kisses they share on their way to the magic 500. And finally… finally they start to communicate and say things to each other they should have said years ago.

I loved the sweetness that wove its way throughout the story, I enjoyed it very much and couldn’t stop smiling when I finished reading it. Absolutely beautiful! Highly recommended! *dreamy sigh*
