Five novellas of hot, sexy love in one limited edition anthology, brought to you by five of today’s hottest bestselling Erotic Romance authors.
From the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, Olivia Cunning…
One Starry Night...

In high school, Jake was the bad boy who made Michelle burn with desire, took what he wanted from her body, and broke her heart. In hindsight, Michelle never should have gotten tangled up with the aspiring guitarist in the first place. In high school, Devlin was a sweet, shy geek who’d had a crush on her, but when he’d found the courage to ask her to Prom, she’d turned him down flat. In hindsight, she should have worried more about the quality of the boy than her reputation with the popular crowd. But this isn’t high school anymore. At her ten year class reunion, Michelle finds her once popular crowd lacking, but finds both the man who broke her heart and the one she once rejected irresistibly sexy. She wants them. Both of them. And they want her any way—every way—they can have her. Can she resist either man? Does she even want to try?

New York Times bestselling author Nicole Edwards is heating things up with Boots Optional, a sexy new ménage novella which is the first book in a hot new series called Dead Heat Ranch. Grace Lambert is familiar with hard work, long days, and handsome cowboys. She’s been working for her family’s dude ranch since she was old enough to ride a horse and she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty. What she is afraid of is the heat that’s been generating between her and not one, but two sexy cowboys who’ve set their sights on her. And each other. Grant Kingsley and Lane Miller have both had their eyes on Gracie for years, but the feisty cowgirl has managed to keep them at bay. As far as they are concerned, cowboys don’t give up, and neither of them is ready to give up just yet. Not on her and not on the heat that transpires between the two of them. Find out what happens when the sultry Texas nights get as hot as the fierce Texas days.

New York Times bestselling author Cherrie Lynn gets it hot in here with SHAMELESS. It's a vacation Meredith Taylor will never forget. A sunny beach, good friends and good times. But when she overhears a couple having a passionate interlude on the balcony above her one night, she can't get the man's sultry voice out of her mind. Especially when she figures out exactly who that man is...
Cameron Moore always had an eye on his best friend's little sister but considered her strictly off limits, choosing to satisfy his lust elsewhere. Now Meri seems to want to annihilate every wall Cam's put up against her. The beach is hot, the drinks are cold, Meredith is irresistible, and something has to give. Will it only be the walls between them, or their hearts as well?

New York Times Bestselling Author Kristen Proby brings you PLAYING WITH FIRE, a ménage novella. Bailey Whitworth is a charity event organizer and a woman exploring her sexuality. Kevin Welling and Gray McDermitt are firefighters and best friends who share everything. Bailey always knew her sexual appetites were "different", but she had no idea that she could fall in love with two men at once. What will she do when she has to choose between them? Or will she have to choose at all?

From USA Today bestselling author, Lainey Reese comes Guarding Nadia.
When Nadia Dixon walked into the offices of CJ Investigations, the last thing she expected to find were men who looked more like GQ models than bodyguards. It was desperation that brought her to their door however and she prayed that the two sex gods were more than just pretty faces.
Caleb and Jonas had started their security firm together after leaving the Secret Service. They had the lethal skill and training to safeguard anyone, including the gorgeous erotic author. Considering her stunning beauty, alluring sensuality and decadent profession, the only wonder was that she had drawn out just one obsessed fan. After hearing Nadia's story and seeing for themselves the threat that she was under, they knew they could keep her safe from any stalker.
Their only worry...who was going to keep her safe from them

Author Q&A

We were delighted to pose the same four questions to all of the authors of the Some Like It Hot Anthology and their answers are just fascinating!!  For your reading pleasure………….

Lainey Reese:

1) If you could write yourself into one of your books, which book would it be and what would the character be like?

A) I wrote a short story called Snowfall that took place in a cabin in the woods. I would love that..and of course, I'd be the feisty and independent leading lady.

2) When you all wrote you first book did you ever think this is where you would be today?

A) Never! I knew someone who sold a book for $7,500.00 once and I remember hoping that I could at least make that much.

3) How do you write , do home life and the rest of the things that you need to do without getting overwhelmed? Like what’s your stress reliever?

A) I have a puppy that cures all that ails me. I swear I never understood people and their lap dogs until this little ball of fluff came along; she de-stresses everything!

4) What made you decide to become a writer and where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A) Writing has always been my dream, for as long as I can remember. As for where I want to be in five years...I hope it's still writing, I hope that never changes!

1) If you could write yourself into one of your books, which book would it be and what would the character be like?

Wow. That’s an interesting question. It’s not an easy one to answer either. Mainly because I think I already do write myself into my books. I experience everything that my characters experience firsthand. And if I had to pick, that would probably be impossible because I would love to go to Coyote Ridge and spend the day hanging out with the Walker Brothers at Moonshiners, or go to Devil’s Bend and chat it up with Tessa and Cooper at The Rusty Nail. Oh, and we can’t forget hanging out at Club Destiny or Devotion because… well, just because. *blushes* I think there is a small part of me in all of my characters, so writing myself into one of the books would be nearly impossible because like I said, I’d want to be in all of them.

2) When you all wrote you first book did you ever think this is where you would be today?

No. Plain and simple. I think like most authors, I hoped. I have always wanted to write books that people wanted to read. The most rewarding part of this is meeting the people who have been affected by a book. I’m an avid reader, so I know what it feels like to get so deep into a book that it feels real. It’s surreal to think that there are some readers who’ve been affected by my books in the same way. It’s a blessing, that’s what it is. But no, I never thought in my wildest dreams that I’d get to this point. And I know, without a doubt, that I have all of the readers and the incredible blogs who’ve supported me along the way to thank for the success I’ve had.

3)  How do you write, do home life and the rest of the things that you need to do without getting overwhelmed? Like what’s your stress reliever?

I don’t think writing is much different than any job – whether you’re in the corporate world or a stay at home parent, everyone manages to juggle things so that their lives aren’t a constant state of chaos. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t times that I’m not overwhelmed, because those times are aplenty. There are days that I can’t come up with a single word and others when I forget to eat because I’m so engrossed in a story that I don’t want to get up from my desk. I think it is important to take time for yourself, whether it is a shopping trip, a spontaneous lunch date, a massage, or even just taking a few moments to sit down and do something that you love to do. I, personally, like to read when things get overwhelming. I enjoy getting lost in a story and forgetting everything that’s going on for a little while. And recently, I’ve started going back to the gym. I love working out, but it’s an easy task to put off when it seems like there is so much else to do. So, I’ve recently promised myself that I would put that first. I get up early, go to the gym, get my workout out of the way and then I’m good for the day. Believe it or not, it is an incredible stress reliever.

4) What made you decide to become a writer and where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Oh, goodness. What made me decide? I have always loved writing. I found it to be a way to escape – a trip into a fantasy world that was nothing like my own. So that’s what I did, ever since I was young. And through the years, I kept it up. Then the whole self-publishing thing came about and I thought I’d give it a shot. I’m so glad I did because I’ve met the most wonderful people through this journey. As for me in five years… I hope that I’m doing the same thing. I hope I can continue to create characters that readers enjoy. I just released my 15th book and I can say that it doesn’t change with each book, it is still an amazing experience each and every time.

1) If you could write yourself into one of your books, which book would it be and what would the character be like?

What a great question! If I were to write myself into a book, I doubt anything would get accomplished plot-wise. So I would have to make myself totally opposite in the book from the way I really am. The book-Cherrie would be level-headed, outgoing, organized, rational, punctual, and not led so much by emotions. She would give fantastic advice and always know what to say and would not be socially inept. What a fabulous character I would be since the real me is NOTHING like that! :)

As far as which book I’d write myself into…probably Rock Me. I might fight Candace for Brian!

2) When you all wrote you first book did you ever think this is where you would be today?

No. I had absolutely no idea. Of course, there was always the hope and the dream I could one day put “New York Times Bestseller” after my name… one day far, far in the future. There was always the knowledge that I could do this, otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered to try. I don’t tend to stick with things I don’t think I’m at least passingly good at! I believe a big part of making it in this business is luck and writing the right thing at the right time, though, so I don’t think I ever truly expected the stars to align in my favor the way they have. But it’s been truly incredible, and I’m so very grateful.

3) How do you write, do home life and the rest of the things that you need to do without getting overwhelmed? Like what’s your stress reliever?

A lot of procrastination and then a frantic sprint to the end! It’s so weird, but it almost seems it was easier to write when I had a full-time job. Because I was forced to make time for it. Now that I’m home all day and the kids are at school, I have time for it, but I allow myself to become distracted. It’s like, “Oh, look, I need to do some laundry. Oh, look, the kids have left toys all over the living room. And I need to make the bed. Argh! I need to take the garbage out and go to the grocery store…oh! Look what’s on TV right now!” Before I know it, hours have gone by, it’s time to get the kids from school, and I haven’t written a word. I finally have to make myself sit down and get it done…usually by that time I’m close to deadline and freaking out. I do get overwhelmed, but I’ve come to accept that as part of the process.

As for stress relief, for me it’s nothing more than being able to get away from everyone—even if it’s just to my office—and turning up my music. If I need a drink or two, hey, I’ll do that, too!

4) What made you decide to become a writer and where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I was always a writer—it was never something I decided to do; it was something I simply did. I still have a story I wrote when I was a little kid. I remember reading a story I’d written out loud to my third grade class—not an assignment, but something I wrote because I wanted to. As I grew up, so did my stories, from fantasy to middle school soap operas to young adult and finally adult romance. As far as deciding to publish, I heard about a special call at Samhain, my publisher, for red-hot summer stories. And Unleashed was born. I didn’t get it written in time to make the call, but I submitted anyway, and they picked it up. Things just went from there! In five years, I hope to still be writing and still be successful at it. I definitely want to continue in my genre—I’ve done a couple of paranormals and, while I enjoyed writing them, I think the hotter contemporaries are the books I can continue building a career on. And that’s great, because I love writing them!

1) If you could write yourself into one of your books, which book would it be and what would the character be like?

All of my books have some of me in them. A more outgoing, exciting version of myself who is living life to the fullest with sexy, successful rock stars, but yeah, there are pieces of me in all my characters. If I were to write my true self into a book, everyone would fall asleep by the second page. Washing dishes, doing laundry, cleaning up dog pee from my new wool dining room rug (Argh!!!) and sitting in front of a computer screen typing isn't interesting to read about. My "real life" character would be rather boring, I'm afraid. She would still love to laugh and go to a lot of rock concerts. She just wouldn't be forward enough to launch herself into a musician's bed.

2) When you all wrote you first book did you ever think this is where you would be today?

I have always hoped to be successful enough as an author to support my family and make writing my sole career. I raised a kid as a single mom, so I had to work a day job. I couldn't quit to pursue a dream. I had to put food on the table and keep a roof over our head. I dreamed of quitting that job, even though I loved it, to write full time. But I never actually thought I'd be able to quit and be a career author. But I did. Someone pinch me! I still feel like I have a lot more to accomplish, so I'm not resting on my laurels. I have a lot more books to write! Hopefully, readers will still want to read them!

3) How do you write, do home life and the rest of the things that you need to do without getting overwhelmed? Like what’s your stress reliever?

Usually I start my day with writing. Once I get interrupted by "real life", I can't seem to write another word. So it's like a race to get as much written before I pitter out or someone or something interrupts my flow. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your view), I've recently bought a house and moved 1000 miles from Texas back to my hometown so I can live close to my family. So for the past three months, every single morning has been interrupted by real life and my writing productivity has really suffered. As of this past Saturday, the move is over and I'm almost done unpacking--finally!--so I'm hoping to get back into my regular routine of writing first thing in the morning for as long as my creativity holds out or "real life" butts in again. My biggest stress reliever is gardening when I want to be calm or going to a live concert when I want to be excited. I also love roller coasters and theme parks and any sort of thrill ride. Nothing like an adrenaline rush to put stress in its place. You thought I was going to say sex, didn't you? *wink*

4) What made you decide to become a writer and where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I started writing in my late teens and wanted to be a romance author. I thought it would be easy to write Harlequin romances and make a living at it. Turned out I was very, very WRONG. My early novels were rejected, but I kept writing new ones until I my "first" novel Backstage Pass was published by Sourcebooks in 2010. I've since started self-publishing as well. We live in a time that gives writers many more options than when I was first starting out. I think it's great! In five years, I hope I'm still writing and still have readers asking for more. I just want to be able to keep doing what I love for a living. I am truly blessed to have the most amazing fans! They rock my face off. Which is why I've started wearing a ski mask year round. <—kidding!!

Kristen Proby:

1) If you could write yourself into one of your books, which book would it be and what would the character be like?

I think I'd like to be Jules in Fight With Me. She's feisty and funny and Nate is just... Rawr.

2) When you all wrote you first book did you ever think this is where you would be today.

No. This is far beyond my wildest imagination, and I'm deeply thankful.

3) How do you write , do home life and the rest of the things that you need to do without getting overwhelmed? Like what’s your stress reliever?

I am a morning writer. I prefer to write early in the day. Yes, life does interrupt, and it can be overwhelming, but I just put my music in my ears and try to block the world out.

4) What made you decide to become a writer and where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I didn't decide to become a writer, I simply am one. It's as much a part of me as my eye color or height. I hope that in five years I'm still writing love stories.

Playing With Fire by Kristen Proby

Becs’ Review

Oh, holy ménage!!

Playing with Fire is a spin off novella from the With Me In Seattle series.  It’s not necessary to have read any of that series to appreciate this one (although I can highly recommend them) – it works perfectly well as a standalone.  A red hot knickers on fire standalone!!

Bailey, our heroine, is Nic’s best friend from Play With Me and we know she has a healthy interest in kinky sex as we first came across her at a BDSM convention.

She’s a charity event organiser by profession and we begin Playing With Fire with her managing a  whole bunch of fire-fighters to do a charity sky-scraper stair climb.  She’s stripping t-shirts off over-heated firemen and cooling them down.  It’s a tough job but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, right?

Two of the firemen, Kev & Gray have really caught her eye and they’ve flirted with her before but she’s wary of accepting their advances, not knowing how she could choose between them.  Little does she know but these two wonderfully dominant firemen have no intention of making her choose. No, a table three is on the menu as they intend to overwhelm and share Bailey and, holy fucking hell, is it ever HOT!!

Two gorgeous firemen entirely focussed on the sexual pleasure and desires of one woman?  It’s an orgasm made in heaven!

This is such a fun, steamy and really rather sweet novella as they experiment with all the sexploits a threesome has to offer – totally delicious!  Kev and Grey are both to die for and Bailey is one lucky girl!

I so very much enjoyed Playing With Fire and could have done with much, much more of it.  It would have made a great full length novel  - the dynamics of this style or relationship leaves much to explore and I really wanted to see more of this but this was only ever meant to be a novella and it’s a perfect summer read and a great addition to the Some Like It Hot Anthology.
