Love and hate aren’t all that different.
Two sides of the same coin, the yin and the yang.
Once upon a time, Jason Ross loved me. And now that he knows what I’ve done, I see the love and the hate warring within him.
I see the way he looks at me.
The way he wonders how I could do the things I’ve done.
I hear it in the way he begs me to stop, to leave this life and run away with him.
But there’s only one way I’m leaving LA.
And that’ll be when Dornan and the rest of his sons are dead and buried.
Jase might forgive me for what I’ve done.
But will he forgive me for the crimes I’m yet to commit?

Lisa’s Review

5 “Raw Emotion” Stars

Damn! Lili St. Germain has done it again!

I will once again state (like in my previous reviews for this series) that I started off this series a little unsure as I was having a hard time with the choices the heroine made in order to solidify her presence within the Gypsy Brothers MC. But…Holy Mother! Lili St. Germain proved once again that not only can she write action-packed and nail-biting scenes but she can also provide her reader with moments full of raw emotion and pure unadulterated need. This novella was simply fantastic!

Four Score is the fourth installment in this serial novella series. Like its predecessors, it picks up right where the last book ends. This novelette was a little different than the previous three segments. For one, it was a little more subdued when it came to the action and those nail-biting moments that have you on the edge of your seat. The focus was rather on Julz and Jase. Some truths are discovered and my heart BROKE! What this addition lacks in fast-paced scenes and action-packed moments, it makes up for with real, gritty, bring-you-to-your-knees emotion. I am not going to say any more. This series should truly be read without any spoilers. Do yourself a favor and avoid all spoilers or hints as to what may happen. When it comes to this excruciatingly haunting story, it should be experienced. And, by that, I mean you should go in expecting it all and simply hold on for the ride. It really is worth it.

One thing about the ending. That dang ending! I have come to expect the unexpected when it comes to Lili St. Germain. But, dammit woman…..

I am sure you are sitting there all smug wanting your readers to weep in their torment. I can imagine your answer to whether or not you are evil would simply be…

Gah! Now to endure the wait for the next book!!!!!

All in all, Four Score was a seriously fantastic and gripping addition to this serial novella series that has gotten its clutches into me and refuses to let go. It is action-packed, suspenseful, gritty, tough and fucking fantastic!!!! So, what is next you may be wondering? Well, another torturous wait until the next book comes out. Three Years is due out July 28, 2014 and holy hell I hope that title does not mean what I think it means!!!!!
