Synopsis

Up until he buys an old truck, Elijah Morgan lives life according to his family’s plan, never feeling like he belongs. Desperate to find his own path, he heads out on the open road, only to end up stranded in Nebraska. Not wanting to ask for his parents’ help, he takes a job with tough, independent farmer Chase McKenzie.
Despite their age gap, the attraction between Chase and Elijah soon becomes undeniable. They give in to their desire, but that night changes everything and threatens the secret Chase guards so carefully.
As the summer heats up, so does their relationship. When autumn arrives, Elijah is due back at college, and he’ll have to choose whether to continue his education and follow in his family’s footsteps… or to stay in Nebraska with the man he loves.

Mark’s Quick Bite

Beautiful, breath-taking, moving and overwhelming. A book that takes you on a journey of personal and emotional discovery, of highs and lows, of tears and then tears of joy!

You never forget your first time or your first love! How many times has this been said, either for good or bad. Well, this was definitely the case with Elijah. After deciding on a whim to take off and burn as many bridges as possible due to a undeniably strong feeling of not fitting in at University, or anywhere else to that matter, buys an old truck and takes off on his very own personal road trip. I'm sure we've all had that urge ourselves more than once and this whole idea will for sure speak to that part of us just wanting to break the chains of our daily constrictions and restraints, duties and responsibilities. If we were all as lucky as Elijah, eh?

This is where at the very beginning of the book the beautifully descriptive and flowing style of the author sets the scene of wide open spaces, fields and a sense of freedom, calm and peacefulness we all yearn for at times. Welcome to cowboy country.

Synopsis

On the surface, Jesse Ross is an average guy in an average relationship with his college sweetheart, Adele. But what his girlfriend doesn’t know is that he’s having an affair—with a man—and exploring his sexuality in ways she never could imagine. His compartmentalized life suits Jesse just fine, and he has no intention of coming out of the closet either as a bisexual or as a submissive.
However, Jesse takes a tumble when his Master, Will, admits to wanting more, wanting Jesse as his partner, not just his submissive. Suddenly Jesse's conveniently pieced-together life isn’t quite so comfortable. In the end, Jesse has to lay it all on the line—for his girlfriend, for his lover, and for himself.

Tina’s Quick Bite

Wow… I loved this book (and the follow up). Anna Martin creates a credible BDSM story that touched me deeply and as far as I remember I read it in one sitting. I was just glued to the pages and couldn’t put the book down. Anna paints such a vivid picture in describing the details surrounding Jesse and Will that I felt like I was right there witnessing every moan, groan, twitch and shiver. Their play-sessions left me breathless and their more tender, emotional moments with one another warmed my heart.

This story is extremely sensual. I absolutely loved the conflict between the BDSM side of Will and Jesse’s relationship and the romantic side. Things do not just fall into place as it does in some other stories, what makes the relationship more believable.

This book really represents everything that I idealise in a romantic D/s relationship. The guys are in love with each other, they are equals and their D/s activities are based on a foundation of trust and safety. The many BDSM scenes are detailed, oh so kinky and hot but balanced by the cuddling and sweet love scenes the guys share when they're just being a couple.

Overall a great BDSM novel. After reading it I was so glad that there was a part two waiting for me. Rumours say the third part is already written, can’t wait to get it into my fingers!

Synopsis

Police detective Patrick Flaherty has no illusions about Russian mobster Alexei Boczar, but that doesn’t stop his fascination with the bodyguard to one of the most ruthless families in Chicago’s growing Eastern European crime community. From the moment Patrick meets Alexei’s eyes over the body of another Russian mobster, Alexei is a thorn in Patrick’s side, refusing to cooperate with the police and turning all of Patrick’s questions back on him. Alexei’s hard-as-nails persona whets Patrick’s professional determination to get the information he’s sure the gangster is hiding, while personally Patrick just wants to get his hands on Alexei’s hard body.
The tattoos marking Alexei’s skin tell the story of his criminal past, but the more Patrick learns about Alexei, the more he wants to know, until he finds himself over his head in a relationship that might cost him his job and could well cost Alexei his life. Alexei is equally fascinated by Patrick’s willingness to overlook his past and even his present associations, but he has secrets of his own that could drive a wedge between them forever.

Macky’s Quick Bite

I've read this twice now and each time I've been drawn into this raw, gritty crime story. It has a deliciously, dangerous but extremely sensual love story running through it between a strong, silent, sexy, Russian mobster, complete with mouth-watering mob tatts and panty wetting accent and a gorgeous undercover cop who finds himself reluctantly drawn to this enigmatic, seductive man.

There's twists and turns, edge of your seat drama, intrigue, hot, hot, sex and, if you know me by now, my all time favourite... All together now... "PALPABLE SEXUAL TENSION!" OMG! Its off the charts with these two and just thinking about it now is making me go all squishy!! Romance, danger and thrills, this one's an m/m must read. Patrick and his Alexai... Or "Patya" and his "Lyosha".

**Big sighs!!**

Synopsis

The past always catches up with you. Max Newman should know—he’s been running from his ever since he dropped out of Uni and made a disastrous move to the seedier side of London. Now he’s returned to Brighton to lick his wounds. Though Max believes the club scene is better left behind him, one night he lets his friends drag him out dancing. And suddenly the simple life he’s tried to lead gets complicated.
At Compulsion, the Medina Group’s newest hotspot, Max meets Seve Nunez, a member of the Medina management and a man used to taking what he wants. The sexual chemistry between Max and Seve immediately leads to an intimate encounter in the backyard of the club—just the kind of dangerous behavior Max tried to leave behind. Despite that, he can't help but crave more, and Seve seems just as eager.
But Max soon suspects that Seve may not be the scrupulous businessman he claims. Max has seen the Medina Group at work before, and what he saw got a good friend killed. He's not sure what future he has with Seve, but he'll have to decide whether to trust in Seve’s innocence or keep running. The wrong choice could land them both in mortal danger.

Monique’s Quick Bite

This was my very first experience with Clare London and I have grown to love her writing, and this book, Compulsion, is just excellent!  …Poignant in its delivery, transporting me into Max's sad and lonely world which we see through his eyes, told completely from his perspective, we hear his thoughts and feelings and learn the tragic events that have led him to where he is now - haunted by his previous mistakes and actions he see's himself as a coward and a fuck up!

Severino Nunez ~ a man of very few words but HOLY HELL he has plenty of moves. Sexual energy just oozes from him. A natural predator, arrogant with an aura of confidence and when Max sees him, he is oblivious to everything... seduced by a glance alone, he can't help himself - all rational lost and baser instincts prevail. Together they are depraved, wild, the sex intense... always with a risk or hint at danger.

This book with it’s vivid and evocative descriptive writing, in my minds eye was almost like a Film Noir, seductive... and at times dark in  atmosphere, it was deep and emotional, with murder and intrigue... and plenty of lust, with copious amounts of very hard fast and passionate sex! Ohhh Yes... Seve is still up there in my top lusts!... Fire hose needed!

Seventeen months later, I am still living in hope that Ms. London will bring us more of these two… sometimes characters just stick with you and Max and Seve are two that are still haunting me!
